Your wage rise - 0 to 5%

If you are interested, follow this to a single-sheet summary of submissions to this year's Annual Wage Review. The range is from 0 to at least 5%.

I will follow up with a discussion on the Annual Wage Review, not just what is being claimed and what the respective arguments are of the unions, the employers and other organizations.

I'll probably start with commentary on the introductions or summaries of 4 or 5 submissions.

For those not in the know Australia's Annual Wage Review (AWR) is the major decision each year that sets a new national minimum wage and, minimum pay rates for every classification level (occupation and skill levels) in all of Australia's 122 industrial awards. An industrial award is a quasi-legal document that sets the minimum and required standards for pay, conditions of work, and working hours across all industries.
